Tarcisio Mahanhe is the Corporate Banking Director at Access Bank Mozambique, where he leads business development and supports the growth of Mozambique’s economy. He holds a Master’s degree in Banking & International Finance from Cass Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Brasília. With over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, Tarcisio has engaged in discussions with the Central Bank on foreign exchange and monetary markets and collaborated with the Ministry of Finance and the Mozambique Stock Exchange (BVM). He began his career at Banco Internacional de Moçambique (BIM) and went on to work at BancABC and Moza Banco, where he contributed to revenue growth and introduced innovations such as bond and commercial paper issuance.
At Access Bank, Tarcisio initially served as Risk Director, where he implemented a Risk Management framework aligned with Bank of Mozambique regulations. In 2020, he took on the role of Corporate Banking Director. He is also active in volunteer work, having founded the UP! Mentoring Club to support local entrepreneurs and participating in charitable initiatives at St. John the Evangelist Parish.
